Vivek Gopan

Vivek Gopan is one of the most recognized and beloved leading men in the history of Malayalam television. He achieved unprecedented household fame for his portrayal of Suraj, the supportive and loving husband to an aspiring IPS officer, in the mega-hit Asianet daily soap Parasparam. The show ran for over 1,500 episodes and cemented Vivek as the ultimate “dream husband” for the family audience.

Beyond his acting career, Vivek is a hardcore fitness enthusiast and a former professional cricketer who played for the Kerala Under-19 team. • Electoral Debut: In 2021, Vivek officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and contested the Kerala Legislative Assembly elections as the NDA candidate from the Chavara constituency. Although he didn’t win the seat, his foray into politics demonstrated his willingness to engage in serious public service.
