Roshan Basheer

Roshan Basheer is an Indian actor who has worked primarily in the Malayalam and Telugu film industries. He made his acting debut in the 2010 Malayalam film Plus Two, but he achieved nationwide fame for his iconic role as the villainous teenager Varun Prabhakar in Jeethu Joseph’s 2013 blockbuster masterpiece, Drishyam.

His portrayal of the spoiled, blackmailing antagonist was so effective that he reprised the exact same role in the Telugu remake, Drushyam (2014), alongside Kamal Haasan. Since his explosive breakout, he has appeared in various films, including Vijay’s Tamil hit Bairavaa, proving his versatility across South Indian industries. Today, he is happily married to Furza and looking to make a massive comeback in the Malayalam entertainment scene.
